- Summary
- BHP Billiton wanted to keep the existing design of their website, but rebuild the front-end to make the site more accessible to users.
- Results
- The front-end was rebuilt from the ground up using standards compliant XHTML & CSS. The navigation was reconstructed in order to make it accessible to a majority of devices, including those without Javascript capabilty. In July 2003, Nomensa assessed the accessibility of FTSE Top 100 Company web sites. The report referenced the BHP Billion website, remarking that "only one corporate home page used valid HTML".

- Summary
- BHP Billiton's other sites needed a redesign to keep them fresh, and make them more accessible to their users.
- Results
- Nine sites in total were given a new design, courtesy of Skills Media. I built the front-end for these designs, using standards compliant XHTML & CSS. By using proper page structure and following W3C standards, these sites experienced a dramatic increase in their search engine rankings.

- Summary
- BHP Billiton's Global Intranet was completely rebuilt, so as to cater to the growing online needs of the company.
- Results
- I worked with the design, done by Eric Fitzgerald, to produce the front end for the BHP Billiton Intranet using standards compliant XHTML & CSS.
- I also wrote style guides for users and developers, and created templates which are now used extensively at BHP Billiton.
- Skills Media

- Summary
- Skills Media supplied the designs, then contracted me to produce several of their client sites. These sites are content managed by their SkillsEdit system.
- Results
- Each site uses the same XHTML template, but a different stylesheet to change it's appearance - much like the CSS Zen Garden concept. I authored both the XHTML template and the CSS files for each site.
